Terms of service

Last updated July 2026. These terms govern use of GarageByte, provided by MangyByte Ltd.

The service

GarageByte provides booking and management software for garages, offered as a monthly subscription in the plans described on our pricing page. We aim to keep the service available and secure, and to improve it over time.

Subscriptions & payment

Plans are billed monthly. Prices are as shown; no VAT is added. SMS and vehicle-reg-lookup credits are purchased separately as pay-as-you-go packs. There is no long-term contract — you can cancel your subscription, effective at the end of the current billing period.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for keeping your login details secure, and for using the service lawfully and only for your garage business. You must not attempt to disrupt the service or access another garage's data.

Availability & support

We work to keep the service running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance and updates may occasionally require brief downtime.

Data

You own your data. Our handling of personal data is described in our privacy policy and, for your customers' data, our Data Processing Addendum. On cancellation you can export your data, and we delete it after a limited retention window.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you've paid in the preceding twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
