What the system does
Online booking
Customers choose a service and a time that fits your ramps. MOTs, services, repairs and packages each have their own length and limits, and the booking form knows about Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles. Confirmations go out by themselves.
The diary
A week view built around your ramps, not just the clock. Move jobs, block out days, add notes and see at a glance how full you are. Staff, their skills and their holidays are kept here too.
Vehicle health checks
Your technician does the check on a phone. Each item is marked green, advisory or urgent, with photos. The customer gets the signed report and the pictures, so they can see why the extra work is needed.
Lookups & reference data
Type in the registration and the vehicle’s details fill in. You also get the air-con gas type and fill weight, and the oil grade and quantity.
Reminders
MOT and service reminders go out by email and by text, on the schedule you choose. You can also send ready-to-collect and payment texts. Texts are 6.58p a segment. You can edit your own text and email wording and save the replies you use most.
Invoicing
A finished job becomes an invoice with the service lines already priced. Connect Xero to keep your books in step, or email a clean invoice straight from GarageByte.
Built for EVs too
Electric and hybrid services come with their own health-check template.
Your data stays yours
Each garage has its own database and its own login, with two-step sign-in and an audit log. Nightly backups. You can ask for an export or for your data to be deleted at any time. Hosted in the EU.
Your customers’ own account
Customers can log in to see their bookings and vehicles, and can turn MOT reminders off themselves.
