Features
Everything from the booking to the invoice.
GarageByte replaces the diary on the wall, the missed callbacks and the "I'll email you a quote" — with one system your whole team uses.
What the system does
Online booking
Customers pick a service and a slot that fits your capacity. MOTs, services, repairs, combos and overnight jobs — each with their own rules. Class 4 and Class 7 handled. Booking confirmations go out automatically.
The diary
A week-view that thinks in ramps and pools, not just time. Move jobs, block out days, add notes, and see forecourt and overnight capacity separately. Everything the front desk needs on one screen.
Vehicle health checks
Your technician works through the check on a phone in the bay, marks each item green/advisory/urgent, and takes a photo. Sign-off pushes a clean report to the customer — with the photos — so approving the extra work is a single tap.
Lookups & reference data
Enter the reg and the vehicle details fill in. Aircon gas type and fill weight, and oil grade and quantity, come up automatically for the specific car — so nobody's flicking through a manual.
Reminders
MOT and service reminders go out by email and SMS on your schedule, bringing customers back before they book elsewhere. Ready-to-collect and payment texts too.
Invoicing
Completed jobs become invoices with the service lines already priced. Connect Xero and it syncs; or render and email a tidy invoice straight from GarageByte.
Built for EVs too
Electric and hybrid services, with an EV-specific health-check template, are in from day one — not bolted on later.
Your data, isolated
Every garage runs on its own database with its own login. UK/EU hosting, nightly backups, and export or deletion on request.
Your website
Pick a colour. That's the hard part done.
Every GarageByte site ships with ten colour schemes built in. Choose one in the setup wizard and your whole site, your booking pages and your customer emails follow it.
Nine steps from sign-up to live.
The setup wizard walks you through the website one screen at a time. Every step can be skipped and picked up later, so you can go live with the basics and finish the rest when the workshop is quiet.
